The pewag group’s quality policy, is underlined by the following basic principle:

In order to maintain and to widen the competitive position of the pewag group, the quality of finished goods and
services must be consistent with the specifications of the customer and also with their expectations of one of the
leading companies. No product should ever pose a danger to people or the environment.
As a profit-oriented company, quality is achieved by taking into consideration the material, personnel and
financial resources; this means that we establish an appropriate best price/performance ratio for the customer
within the acknowledged framework.
Stringent demands are placed on all employees to ensure high standards of quality. No matter what hierarchical
level, all managers are in charge of managing quality. Every employee within the pewag group should be
educated, motivated and instructed by the management team. It is important for promoting high quality awareness
that the education and training of employees is at the forefront, as each employee is responsible for the quality of
his/her own work.

The close interaction between sales, product development,

Health and safety is the most important thing for our employees. It is our utmost goal both to
maintain this, and to go above and beyond the minimum statutory requirements in order to meet our
responsibilities in this regard. We also want to put this principle into action during leisure time.
Health and safety at work is a management task and demands identification, exemplary behaviour,
as well as the willingness to take responsibility for and implement health and safety measures on the
part of management.
The employees also share a responsibility for their own health and safety in terms of their actions.
This is equally the case for the people in their vicinity. They know the valid health and safety
provisions and they take an active role in recognising, reporting and removing dangers.
We actively involve and consult our employees, and this involves us providing ongoing training
seminars, information and motivation in order to ensure that a strong awareness for health and safety
exists within the company.
Where necessary, external health and safety specialists will be called upon. We conduct regular
examinations and maintenance measures in order to ensure that the work spaces, facilities and
operating equipment are safe.
We maintain appropriate documentation records of the health and safety related events and
precautions and derive the necessary measures that may need to be undertaken from these.
