The König DRS is the snow removal snow chain specifically designed for machines with extra-wide tyres such as wheel loaders and large agricoltural tractors.
Thanks to the special triple-diamond cross-section design, the DRS cross-sections provide a larger number of diagonal elements compared to the standard double-diamond snow removal chains and subsequently better geometries to gain traction.
Still related to cross-sections, the horizontal links for the cross-sections are covered with ice-breakers overlinks increasing the number touch points between the chain and the ground and dramatically improving the vehicle side handling.
The product is manufactured in K-Premium Steel, the latest generation special alloy steel selected by König as the main raw material for Professional snow chains. Thanks to the K-Premium Steel ensures and the specific in-house treatments, the finished products includes all the necessary specifications to reach superior levels of strenght and durabiliy.
The connection between cross-section and side elements is handled with welded rings able known for their higher resistance to opening compared to traditional truck-chains side hooks.
When it comes to fitting, König DRS embodies the purest Professional snow chain tradition and it features a quadruple hook connection system (2 hooks on the central cross-section, 1 hook on the internal side and 1 hook on the external side). The central hook/connection system allows the chain to entirely cover the tyre tread and the offering a smooth and comfortable driving appreciated in prolonged snow clearing working sessions.
The proper tensioning level is reached by pulling the tightening chain through the tensioning lever, which gets then securely fastened and locked.
To ensure a suitable product lifetime, the König DRS is completely hardened (including side elements) and galvanized to be protected against corrosive agents.
The König DRS is available exclusively in 10mm wire diameter which is the most suitable one according to tyre dimension and vehicle weight.
