König Impact is the ideal partner for all snow clearing activities for Trucks and Tractors and includes all the right features that Professionals look for during their winter services.
Thanks to the special double-diamond cross-section design, the König Impact cross-sections provide a larger number of diagonal elements compared to truck snow chains and subsequently better geometries to gain traction.
Still related to cross-sections, the horizontal links for the cross-sections are covered with ice-breakers overlinks increasing the number touch points between the chain and the ground and dramatically improving the vehicle side handling. But that’s not all.
In fact, to fulfil the heaviest duty requirements, the cross-sections of the König Impact are enhanced specific additional steel bars, welded both on horizontal and vertical links. Apart from proving more sharp edges and a more aggressive link design towards the ground, the steel bars provide additional wear volume to bring the product durability to the next level.
The product is manufactured in K-Premium Steel, the latest generation special alloy steel selected by König as the main raw material for Professional snow chains. Thanks to the K-Premium Steel ensures and the specific in-house treatments, the finished products includes all the necessary specifications to reach superior levels of strenght and durabiliy.
The connection between cross-section and side elements is handled with welded rings able known for their higher resistance to opening compared to traditional truck-chains side hooks.
When it comes to fitting, König Impact embodies the purest Professional snow chain tradition and it features a triple hook connecting system (1 hook on the central cross-section, 1 hook on the internal side and 1 hook on the external side). The central hook/connecting system allows the chain to entirely cover the tyre tread and the offering a smooth and comfortable driving appreciated in prolonged snow clearing working sessions.
The proper tensioning level is reached by pulling the tightening chain through the tensioning lever, which gets then securely fastened and locked.
To ensure a suitable product lifetime, the König Impact is completely hardened (including side elements) and galvanized to be protected against corrosive agents.
According to the tyre size, König Impact is available in different wire dimensions (from 5.50mm up to 10mm) to ensure the expected resistance and durability is guaranteed on the different machines.
König Impact is certified according to Ö-Norm V5119 and fulfils all the necessary legal requirements.
