The König Polar Pro is the heavy truck snow chain ideal for mountain driving during winter.
Based on a single-diamond cross-section design, the horizontal links are covered with ice-breakers overlinks, subsequently increasing the number touch points between the chain and the ground and dramatically improving the vehicle side handling.
The product is manufactured in K-Premium Steel, the latest generation special alloy steel selected by König as the main raw material for Professional snow chains. Thanks to the K-Premium Steel ensures and the specific in-house treatments, the finished products includes all the necessary specifications to reach superior levels of strenght and durabiliy.
The connection between cross-section and side elements is handled with side hooks.
The König Polar Pro is fitted on the wheel in the traditional way with 1 hook per side (1 internal and 1 external).
The proper tensioning level is reached by pulling the tightening chain through the tensioning lever, which gets then securely fastened and locked.
To ensure a suitable product lifetime, the König Polar Pro cross-sections are hardened and the snow chain is entirely galvanized to be protected against corrosive agents.
According to the tyre size, König Polar Pro is available in 5.50mm and 7.00 to cover all vehicles dimensions and needs.
The König Polar Pro is certified according to Ö-Norm V5119 and fulfils all the necessary legal requirements.
